Peekabo Networks is committed to maintaining a clean, secure, and abuse-free network environment. This policy establishes our procedures for receiving, processing, and resolving network abuse complaints in compliance with industry best practices and international standards.

4. Abuse Categories & Response Procedures
4.1 Spam & Unsolicited Bulk Email
Definition: Sending unsolicited commercial or bulk email through our network.
Response:
1. Immediate traffic analysis and source identification
2. Customer notification with 2-hour compliance deadline
3. Service suspension if non-compliant
4. Permanent termination for repeat offenders
4.2 DDoS Attacks & Network Abuse
Definition: Distributed denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or network intrusion attempts.
Response:
1. Immediate null-routing of attacking IPs
2. Automated mitigation systems engagement
3. Customer service immediate suspension
4. Law enforcement notification if required
4.3 Malware & Phishing
Definition: Hosting malicious content, phishing pages, or malware distribution.
Response: Immediate content removal and service suspension. Zero tolerance policy.
4.4 Copyright Infringement (DMCA)
Definition: Hosting content that infringes intellectual property rights.
Response: Process per DMCA guidelines. Content removal within 24 hours of valid notice.

6. Proactive Monitoring Systems
Peekabo Networks employs comprehensive monitoring to detect abuse before external reports:
• Real-time Traffic Analysis: Automated detection of anomalous traffic patterns
• Blacklist Monitoring: Daily checks against major DNSBLs (Spamhaus, Barracuda, SpamCop)
• BGP Monitoring: Route leak and hijack detection via RPKI and IRR validation
• Abuse Feedback Loops: Registered with major ISPs and email providers
7. Customer Compliance Requirements
All customers must agree to our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), which prohibits:
• Spam, phishing, and malware distribution
• DDoS attacks or participation in botnets
• Copyright infringement
• Any illegal activities under applicable law
Violation Consequences: First offense: Warning + 24h remediation. Second offense: Service suspension. Third offense: Permanent termination without refund.
8. Documentation & Record Keeping
All abuse complaints and responses are logged with: timestamp, reporter information, nature of abuse, actions taken, resolution status, and customer communication records. Records retained for minimum 2 years.
